NCSP is pleased to announce our Marching Percussion Camps beginning in the summer of 2019.
The camps will be held on the NCSP campus and will feature two of the most sought-after and respected Marching Percussion experts in America along with their hand-picked instructional staffs working directly with the camp participants.

Beginning on Monday, July 15 and running through Friday, July 19, our “Pageant Style” Marching Percussion Camp will bring Dr. Lamon Lawhorn and his staff to the NCSP campus. Dr. Lawhorn arranges for and directs the award winning “Cold Steel” drumline of the North Carolina A&T “Blue and Gold Marching Machine” marching band.

The following week, beginning on Monday, July 22 and running through Friday, July 26, Justin Johnson will take time out from his busy schedule to travel to the NCSP campus with his staff and head up our “DCI/WGI/Competitive Band Style” Marching Percussion Camp. Justin is a sought-after instructor, arranger, and judge along with being the Founder and Executive Director of the Gate City Percussion indoor competition unit.
Each camp will run from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm each day. Instruction will be a mixture of individual segment instruction and full-ensemble instruction. Instructors will also be available to camp attendees each afternoon for optional private teaching sessions at an additional cost.
